Eddie Edwards, The Right Choice for NH!

Attention citizens of Barrington, Dover, Somersworth and Rollinsford, NH~David Watters has been your State Senator for the last 2 years. In his Senate Bio, it explains that his priorities are “to make jobs, education, the environment, and historical preservation his focus...”
What has he done for you and the rest of us that live in NH in the 2013-2014 session? He co-sponsored HB 617, a bill to increase a road toll for gasoline and diesel fuel. He also co-sponsored and voted for SB 367, which will increase the gas tax by 4 cents beginning next July. That is a 23% increase on the existing gas tax. This is not just going to affect your weekly fill up, this will affect everything you consume. If it gets to your stores by truck, the prices are going up.
He voted against SB 217, which would have given employees the freedom to decide if they wanted to join a union or not.
He voted for SB 413, which was to expand Medicaid when there is no plan in place to continue to fund it once the Federal government stops. This will leave NH with either a sales or an income tax.
He voted for SB 319, which limits Freedom of Speech, or puts it in a “zone”. This has already been ruled unconstitutional by the courts, because it is. This will likely also be over turned in the courts in NH, however not before costing the taxpayers more money. (Thanks again Watters, for taking our voice, and then our money)
In 2012, while he was in the House, he voted against HB 1354, a voter ID law. With all the information coming out the last couple weeks about the voter fraud going on in our own state of NH, the Voter ID law, needs to happen. Somehow, we need to stop those busses coming in from Massachusetts, deciding who gets to ‘make law’ in our state.
He has been rated unfavorably by the NRA, and touts a 30% or less rating with 2 separate business associations, the NH”s NFIB and NH’s BIA. He says he wants to create jobs’ but continues to push increasing the minimum wage. Common sense says that it you force small business to pay $15 a hour, you will not grow jobs, you will shut down businesses.
Bottom line is that Watters is a big government and big regulation man. His vision and policies will continue to destroy NH families.
Eddie Edwards is the only choice for State Senate District 4. He respects the Constitution and understands that the best thing that the government can do for the economy is to get out of its way. Eddie will stand for transparency within our government, as well as accountability and oversight. Eddie understands that real freedom comes from being self-empowered, not from government reliance. Eddie Edwards is the true choice for the people of NH and the NH way.

Eddie and his Beautiful wife Cindy.
