Governor
Jay Nixon did
a tremendous disservice
yesterday
when
he
called
for
a “vigorous
prosecution”
of police
officer
Darren Wilson. Shame on him.
He
is an attorney
and
there is still
an investigation
going
on. As
the
days
bleed
on, more
and
more
facts,
videos and
eyewitness
accounts
have
gone
public
and
we
don’t
even
know
what
the
official
investigation
has come
up with. It
was
first
reported
‘white cop shoots unarmed, 18 year
old
black kid.' Immediately
conclusions
were
drawn
that
it
was
a race
issue.
Then
to make
sure
it
became
a race
issue,
Attorney General Eric Holder has the
convenience
store
security
footage withheld.
It
leaks
anyways and
we
learn
that
the
“gentle
giant
18 kid” was
not behaving
quite
so
innocent
and
gentle
just
15 minutes
before the
incident
that led
to his death.
That
in its self
should have
given
people
pause
and
at the
very
least
quell
some
of the
protesting
and
rioting that had
begun
to take
place.
It showed
that
there might just be
more to
the
story.
But no. Enter
cartoon
character
Al Sharpton and
fellow race
baiter, Jesse Jackson, and
their bus
loads
of rabble-rousers from across the
country.
Being
that
they
are well organized and big
fans
of the
Chicago thug,
Mr. “You never
let
a serious
crisis
go
to waste.
And
what
I mean
by that
it's
an opportunity
to do
things
you
think
you
could not do
before.”
Rahm Emanuel, they
continued
to do what
they
do best.
Pour
the
gas
on the
fire
that was
already
out of control.
We hear that the kid has his hands up (like surrendering) we hear he was shot in the back, from several ‘eye witnesses’ who have the same story, almost word for word. The autopsy's, (both of them), discredits those claims. Yesterday we learn that Officer Wilsons eye socket was fractured, which probably accounts for why he shot Brown 6 times, with a couple in the arm. Another eyewitness account was that Brown was running towards Wilson. That eyewitness account actually makes more sense given the silhouette released showing where the bullets hit, and that Wilson probably didn’t have 20-any sight in one eye.
When Nixon said, “vigorous prosecution” I heard “vigorous persecution” because that is all this cop has gotten since this first broke out. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? I think it’s implied in the 5th, 6th and 14th Amendment. Maybe those are the Amendments that are now going to be systematically ‘transformed’ by the guy in the White House, or the guy ‘on the greens’ which is more accurate. Is Nixon being strong-armed to charge this cop without due process? I believe that we all need to be praying for Browns parents, for comfort at the unspeakable loss of their son. I also believe that we need to be praying for ‘truth and transparency’ in this investigation and what is turning to a witch hunt. They are looking for someone to hang. Also pray for Officer Wilson and his family, his physical, emotional healing, and safety. Just Saying.
